Casa Eden is a private residence in the Andalusian countryside. It is where I live and where I work. I open the doors to a small number of guests each year, by invitation. No published address, no walk-in bookings. The privacy of this place is part of what makes the work possible.
Almonds, olives, figs, grapes, oranges, papayas, bananas, pomegranates, pecans, chirimoya, kaki and nísperos. Every season brings something new to the table — sometimes literally, from the trees outside the kitchen window. Breakfast is held among the fruit trees most mornings. Birdsong is the soundtrack.
A blend of old and new. A cosy Andalusian house and studio with an open fireplace in traditional brick. Space for conversation inside and out, and a large covered terrace with an open view over the hills.
Sheep bells from the hillsides. Horses in the distance. The silence stays. The nearest restaurant is a ten-minute walk. A beach is fifteen minutes by car. White hilltop pueblos, mountain trails, golf courses, horse riding and weekly markets are all within easy reach. Marbella and Málaga are both thirty to fifty minutes away — coast, culture, restaurants and open water for an afternoon and evening away. Villages are close enough to feel present, far enough that nothing interrupts.
